Green Eggs And Ham

We left off with Mark, Bey, Jay, and Shawn all going out to eat. Bey had to spill the beans and remind Mark of who she was. They agreed on not telling Jay because he was too important to lose. Jay has been working non-stop with Mark for the past three months and Shawn has been getting bigger and bigger. While at home with Bey, he’s been learning how to talk and walk…HERE WE GO…

Bey was playing with Shawn, it was lunch time at the office so she called Jay.

          “Hello? Rocawear offices how can I help you?”

“Hey, Judi; It’s Bey.”

          “Wanna talk to Jay?”

“Yeah, thanks.”

          Judi redirected the line to Jay’s office.

“Yo, wat up?”

          “Hello to you too.” Bey giggled.

“Hey, baby. What’s going on?”

          “Nothing much we’re just chilling. I miss you.”

“Miss you too, babe. I should be home around six.”

          “That late again? Jay…I wish you didn’t work so much.”

“Sorry…in between this and being in the studio I don’t got a lot of free time.”

          “Not even for your son and wife? You know he starting to talk?”

          “That’s my boy! Uhhhhh, Bey Mark just came in I gotta go. I’ll call you back. Alright bye!” He hung up.

          “Love you tooo.” Bey stopped smiling. “Ughhhh. Mark this Mark that!” Bey bounced Shawn up and down. “Daddy is so irritating.”

          “Daaaddddyyyy. Hehesmfldkfngjg.” Shawn giggled and blew bubbles with his spit (eww lol). Bey’s jaw dropped.

          “Yes, baby! Daddy!!!! Daddy!!!” She squeezed him. “Mhmmhhhmmmm! I love you so much you so smart!” Shawn smiled at Bey some more and then he let out a big yawn. “Is my baby tired? You didn’t even eat yet. You hungry?” Shawn clapped his hands. She feed Shawn and then put him down for a nap. Then her phone went off. She ran into the kitchen and put it on silent. She had a missed call from Jay, so she texted him.

BEY: I just put him to sleep baby

JAY: Oh sorry um Imma be home later than I thought me n Mark goin out 2 dinner

BEY: smh lil man said daddy

JAY: aww give my boy a kiss for me he growing up so fast

BEY: maybe if you were here with him he could see how proud you are of him

JAY: Bey im workin I gotta provide for my fam don’t worry he’ll kno stop trying to start stuff

“Stop trying to start stuff? I can’t even deal.” Bey threw her phone back into her bag and cleaned up a little. She found dirty clothes of Jay’s everywhere. He had dirty boxers all over his side of the bathroom. She picked em up.

“This is so disgusting. These stink.” One of em even had a cum stain on it. “The fuck?” She threw it in the washing machine with the rest of his dirty stuff. She started to clean the kitchen next. Bey went into Jay’s home office which he is almost always in when he’s home. There were dirty plates and old food.

“Really though?” She cleaned up the mess and made sure everything was spit spot clean. She wanted to make something good for herself for dinner. It ended up burning half way through so Bey gave up and flopped on the couch and started to watch reruns of Jersey Shore. Bey couldn’t even concentrate on the episode her mind was flooding with thoughts about Jay and how it seems like he doesn’t care about the ones at home. She started to tear up, until she heard Shawn crying and calling for her.

“Mmmmaaammaaaa!” Bey walked into his room and he had thrown up in his crib.

“Awww baby!” She got a towel and put it on the floor. She undressed him and laid him on the towel. “Don’t move.” She got a plastic bag and threw his “sheets” and onzie into it. She came back and got Shawn. “Lil Man what happened?” He started to cry. “Aww it’s okay.” She ran him a warm bath, put him in a clean onzie, and laid him on her bed. “I was gonna take you out, but I guess not anymore.” She kissed him on the forehead. Bey felt his head and cheeks. (when yall were sick as kids did ya parents stick the thermometer up ya butt? Mine did lmao) “Lil Man you’re burning up. We gone have you checked out tomorrow.”

Shawn blinked his eyes a few times. “You still sleepy?” He pouted. “Don’t cry no more baby.” He cried anyway. Bey held him and rocked him. My baby really must not feel good. She thought to herself.

BEY: Shawn’s sick

JAY: we’ll take him to the doctors tomorrow

BEY: you mean me

JAY: yeah…im really busy babe and I would come home now but I wanna get this stuff done

BEY: do you have to go out with Mark tonight?

JAY: its business babe sorry love you

BEY: mhmmm

Bey let Shawn sleep and took a little nap with him. Bey woke up an hour later and cleaned up his mess from earlier. Bey went back to watching tv and folded up some clothes. She made a bowl of cereal and ate her dinner. It was around nine and Shawn was just waking up. Jay still wasn’t home yet.

          “Daaadddddyyyyy?”

“No babe, daddy’s not home yet, but Mommy’s here. Imma always be here okay?” She pulled out a book and started to read it. “No I do not like green eggs and ham...Sam I am…” Bey ended up reading it a few times. She yawned.

          “Mukk.”

“Huh??”

          “Muukkkk.”

“Milk?” He smirked. “Ohhh…Okay.” Bey came was in the kitchen warming up a bottle when she heard the door unlock…To Be Continued…
