Time

Yessss bitches it’s my 60th post! Yay! Haha that’s a lot of fucking posts!!! Anyways back to what we were doing! HERE WE GO……

She refrained from turning on the light and felt her way to the bathroom. A night light was always plugged into the outlet. She sat down on the toilet and let out a heavy sigh. Following the trickling sound of piss flowing down the side of the toilet and splashing into the water, she wound toilet paper around her hand and wiped her bottom. Before flushing, she stood up and stared into the toilet. To her eyes, the water looked slightly tinted. Quickly, she flicked the bathroom light on and noticed the red liquid in the toilet.
“JAY!!” She started to tear up.
“What, Bey?” He shot up in bed and rubbed his eyes.
“Jay! It’s happening!”
“What’s happening, Bey?!?” He turned on the light in their bedroom and saw little spots of blood on their once crisp white sheets. “Oh, fuck ass no!” He stumbled into the bathroom and caught Bey before she fainted. “Babe! Bey! Wake up, baby! We’re gonna be alright.” He laid her on the tile floor and grabbed an oversized sweatshirt. Carefully, he put it over her head and covered her bare skin. “We’re gonna be alright.”
He laid her back down, threw on some sweats, ran downstairs, grabbed the car keys, and opened the front door.
Back upstairs, he struggled to get her safely in his arms, but the mission was accomplished. He laid her in the back seat, slammed the front door, and got in the car.
          “Hello?!? Is Dr. Robins there?!?”
“Yes, one moment please.” He backed out of the driveway careful not to jerk his wife out of the back seat.
          “Jay? Hello?”
“Aye! Robins! We have an emergency, we’re coming in now!”
          “Okay, I’ll be there!”
“Thank you!” Jay threw his phone down and focused on getting Bey to the hospital. As he was pulled up, the instant second felt like slow motion as the red, blue, and white flashing lights came closer and closer to his eyes. His pupils shrunk as he jerked the steering wheel. Looking back at his wife, he screamed. The ambulance hadn’t seen him.

She blinked and squinted her eyes when she noticed Jay in front of her with his head oddly tilted to the side.
          “Jay?” Back to reality. “JAY!”
The men from the ambulance rushed out and opened the car door.
          “Ma’am are you alright?!”
“NOOOOOOOOOOO!” She had tears in her eyes. A black man with big muscles grabbed her, carried her out of the car and into the hospital.
“You’re going to be okay.” He tried to calm her down. She beat on his chest and cried. He put her down on a stretcher and she curled up into a ball. Dr. Robins ran up to her side.
“Mrs. Carter! Bey, I saw what happened!” She hugged her. “Follow me! I want to make sure you’re okay. Jay will be fine, he’s in good hands.”
“My baby!” Robins helped her off the stretcher and held her hand as they walked into a private room. “This is all my fault.” Robins grabbed her hands.
“He’s going to be fine. Please, just let me check you out. Jay called me and said there was an emergency. What happened?”  Then it dawned on Bey.
“OH MY GOD! MY BABY!” She grabbed her stomach. “Pleaseeee, nooo!” Robins had her lay back. She held Bey’s hand and started up an ultrasound machine. Pulled up her sweatshirt and covered her privates. Bey remembered the gel being warm. Her eyes closed and she fell asleep again. She blinked and opened her eyes slowly to the sound of the bass. It was a simple two-count. Thump. Dump. Thump. Dump. Thump. Dump. Thump. Dump. Thump. Dump.
Robins whispered in her ear. “Baby’s perfect.” Bey smiled and closed her eyes again. She took a deep breath.
“But the blood. There was blood.”
“Where?”
“In the toilet. I remember. The blood.” She was slurring her words, but managed to get out a real sentence.
“Sweetheart, blood or no blood. You’re okay and your baby is okay. I’ll be right back. Stay put.” She proceeded to close her eyes again.

Out in the hall, it was mayhem. They had to revive him. The blood was leaving to fast, the oxygen wasn’t entering fast enough. Robins kept her away. She’s smart. “She’s stable, but I need an IV!” Called out, but heard by no one. Everyone was too busy. Twenty minutes later she has her IV.
In a cold white room, he dreams of nothing. Wounds covered. Heart pumping. Eyes shut.……To Be Continued…..Goodnight <33 Love you all. *waves*
